Auburn School Board to Honor Lake View Elementary
Fifth Grader as Student of the Month

The Auburn School District Board of Directors will recognize Abbie Marsh, a fifth grade student at Lake View Elementary School, for being an outstanding student on Monday, December 12, at 7 p.m. in the board room at the James P. Fugate Administration Building.

Abbie Marsh is a stand-out student who models dedication and hard work for her classmates. She is dependable, hard working and always well behaved. Abbie also is noted for her love of reading. In fact, she is a great person to ask what book to read because she knows about most popular children’s titles.

Abbie sings in the Lake View choir and plays clarinet in band. Outside of school, Abbie and her family show Irish Setters. Abbie has three Irish setters. Currently she shows Ethan—aka “Alliance’s Special Edition”—who is a 20-month-old Irish setter from Mexico. Abbie loves her dogs.

Abbie’s teachers unanimously selected her for this honor because she is a “great kid” who tries hard every day. Abbie has faced some personal and family challenges that have been difficult. And like most kids, she is not perfect. Yet everyone who works with Abbie agrees that she is a perfect choice to represent Lake View because of her fantastic attitude and character. She is a great example of a Lake View Cardinal who “Flies with Pride.”

Grandma embroidered an Irish Setter & my name, then made me an new apron.

Its pretty nice, the pattern is like my Great Great Grandma's apron.

Thank you Gma & Papa, I really like it.

They made an apron just like mine & embroidered Aunt Jennifers name on it & gave it to her. They wanted to thank her for helping Daddy take care of me this year.

In general, the darker the colour, the higher the rank.

Physically, taekwondo develops strength, speed, balance, flexibility, and stamina.

We are so proud of Abbie she took 1st Place Jr Handling in Puyallup Dog Show this weekend.
Note from Grandma Jean:
soooo very proud of Abbie WINNING 1st place in her class of 8 or 9 today in Junior Handling at the Puyallup dog shows. Her and Floozie are making a good pair, they tried very hard in the Best Jr. ring, She loved it!! Go Abbie,!!!!!

Mommy's Memorial Service 1/9/10

We had Mommy's Memorial service on Saturday 1/9/10 at 2:00 PM, at Washington Thoroughbred Breeders Association WTBA , Morris J. Alhadeff Sales Pavilion ,3220 Emerald Downs Drive, it was a really nice facility.

Really nice service everyone did a great job getting this together for Mommy.

So many people there for us. It was really nice to see so many members of my family on all sides & so many friends. Yes I do have a lot of Grandma's & Grandpa's, aunts, uncles & lots of cousins.

It was really nice to get to so many hugs.

Mariah is Aunt Willie & Uncle Hugh's niece, she is spending the whole summer with them.
Her & I became good friends while I was there. We had lots of fun learning how to live on a farm. We did chores. Mariah & I got to tame & train the calf on a halter. We took walks did lots of stuff. I had a great time. It was fun

Friday night they had a suprise for me when I got to their house.
